Purest Light's beeswax candles are the best candles on the market.

Their exceptional purity means a longer burning time, because the wick and candle burn cleaner. Their lovely translucence results in a beautiful glow when lit.

Each candle is handcrafted with low heat, without metals, and is inspected by us for quality. The tightly woven, all-cotton wick makes the candle burn with extra brightness and efficiency. They are naturally honey-scented, and come in varieties of white and golden shades.

Our intention is to produce each candle with our highest possible consciousness, with respect for the bees, beekeepers and for each step of the process that brings you the best candle available today.

Our Process

Local beekeepers from the Mississippi River Valley collect the wax from the beehive after extracting the honey. We clean the wax with a water and settling process. Care is taken to keep the heat low, so as to keep the wax as soft and pliable as possible.

We insert all-cotton wicking into the mold with a long copper needle and stretch the wick to the right tension. Wax is poured into the mold and added again to counteract the shrinking that happens when the wax cools.

When the candles are finished, we add wick tabs to the bottoms of the larger candles, to stabilize the wick at the end of the candle's burn. The candles are cooled and aged to help them burn slowly and evenly.

We add our blessings to the candles in the hope that they may bring a beautiful quality of peacefulness to all who watch them burn.
